Government has notified the Finance Act, 2021 on 28th March 2021 after the same received the assent of the President of India on the same day.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman has introduced the Finance Bill, 2021 on 1st February 2021. Loksabha passes the Bill on 23.03.2021 and Rajyasabha passes the same on 24.03.2021.
More than 100 government amendments were introduced in the Finance Bill, 2021 when the same was passed in the Loksabha on 23rd March 2021.
Finance Bill, 2021 received the assent of the President on 28th March 2021 and become the Finance Act, 2021 (No. 13 of 2021). The Finance Act, 2021 is finally notified on 28th March 2021 by the Ministry of Law and Justice.
